About

Heather Mizzi

Travel is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. It gives us the opportunity to see the world through our own eyes. And experience another place, perhaps another culture, new people and of course great food and drink.

As an avid traveller I have been to various destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, the USA and Canada.  In 2007-2008 I lived and worked in Dublin, Ireland.  It was one of those rare opportunities to experience life in another country.

I now begin a new journey as the Manager of Advertising and Promotions with Maritime Travel.  I am delighted to be part of the team.  I am so fortunate to work at home on the East Coast and in an industry I love.

As the new editor of the Maritime Travel blog, my goal is to bring you fascinating stories, news, tips and features on destinations from around the world.  I encourage you to comment on the blog and share your travel stories.  I’ll be sure to feature our customer’s stories as much as possible.

Enjoy the ride and remember to check out www.maritimetravel.ca for your next travel adventure!

Congratulations on your new blog. Hope it is a success. Who knows you may yet become as famous as John Heald (probably the most read cruise blog in the world).

Our family loves to travel and can never seem to get enough of it. We live in New Brunswick Canada and get to travel around our province.

I moved here from Ontario many years ago because of the beauty and scenic drives.

We are just two years away from retirement and from that point on there is no stopping us.

And I agree, travel is such a gift.

I did get to travel to Vancouver for a day and while our son was growing up we hit the Florida amusement parks but other than that we haven’t travelled much outside of New Brunswick.
